From Munich, Oberstaufen is easily accessible via the A96 toward Lindau. Take the Wangen im Allgäu exit and follow the B32 toward Immenstadt/Oberstaufen. As you approach Oberstaufen, the picturesque Allgäu foothills of the Alps greet you — but keep your eyes on the road; there will be plenty more to enjoy later at Parkhotel Oberstaufen.
Alternatively, you can travel via the A7: take the Kempten exit, continue on the B19 toward Immenstadt, and then follow the B308 directly to Oberstaufen. Parkhotel Oberstaufen is located at Argenstraße 1 — just follow the local signs for “Oberstaufen Zentrum,” and you’ll practically be here already.
By train
Completely relaxed and hassle-free: Take the train directly to Oberstaufen. The station is just a few minutes’ walk from the village. From there, you can either enjoy a comfortable 10–12 minute walk or take one of the taxis available right outside.
The public bus also gets you to the town center quickly — just hop on and get off at the next stop. From there, the Parkhotel is just around the corner.
